Last night was my first REAL experience with Dungeons and Dragons. I’ve played a few games on Roll 20, but I’ve never played in person. We all met up last night around 5pm, and got the rules sorted out, the atmosphere of the world, and a few characters created who still needed. We embarked on out adventure around 9pm, and I must say it was extremely enjoyable even though we just were meeting random characters in the world. We started in a courtyard of a castle that was sourounded by what seemed to be a cult chanting while the world was collapsing around them. We entered the castle and began our search. Everything was damaged and it seemed to be vacant for years. So we searched the upper tier if the castle to find what we called..The warlock. He was a fairly common magician, so we decided to take that to our advantage and toy with the man. I started by slamming my sword into his desk and pushing his hat off the table. Then our wizard decided to take it and put it on himself, while the thief slight of handed it off his head. After a good 30 minutes more of messing with the magician, he told us to head upstairs to find the mystical woman. We made our way up to her and she explained we were too early and we should not have been sent here yet. After explaining that there is a terrible force taking over the lands. She sent us back to our tavern to collect ourselves. That is where the journey ended. We hopefully will begin our second session next Friday night!

Give her the Astonishing Amulet of Amenartas next time and don’t forget to ask how her week was. Mystics are moody but also chatty. Stop by Ye Olde Starbucks and get her a Latte of Spectral Confusion in case that doesn’t do it.
