So after the last 2 months of grinding Overwatch, I have realized I have made a huge mistake… Why did I not buy this game at launch!? I got this game as a gift for Christmas after many of my friends begged me to buy it for the last year. A lot of my friends scared me into thinking this game was more of a MOBA , as they explained it to be a 3 lane style game, with “Champions” , and no real level system… Which scared me away from an earlier purchase. Biggest gaming mistake I’ve made so far is not buying this game on release…
The last 2 months of gaming has been the most refreshing time I’ve had since Modern Warfare 2. I have been in a rut of games ever since Infinite Warfare dropped in late 2016. It didn’t grab me as well as Black Ops 3, so I really needed a new game to grasp me into hours and hours of gaming. Well thank you overwatch 90 hours in 2 months I am satisfied.
As for my rank. I made it to diamond before the season’s end. Super happy with my rank since I placed around 2450 (High Gold), and finished in low Diamond 3033. Thanks to many of hours of researching characters to play, and how to master certain heroes. I found my love… Mei❄. She was one of the heroes I put a lot of time into accumulating 22 hours with the goddess of Ice. I also worked a lot with Roadhog, Lucio, Genji, and at the end of the season Zenyatta. It was a blast the whole season. I ended the season in low Diamond at 3033, so shooting for the stars to reach into Master rank next season!
Next season will be upon us Tuesday the 28th of February. Up untill then I will be spending my time trying to master Zarya, Mcree, and give me a character to work on! Tweet us @TheNerdChambers and tell me which character I should try and master next!
