The Developers Heard Our Cries…

There are many upcoming changes to Overwatch that have been hitting season 4. Some of the changes have been the new character Orisa and others like balancing changes. The biggest balance we’ve seen so far this season was the change for Bastion. He was equipped with a better healing ability that allows him to move while helping, and a better weapon spread. So far nothing crazy has changed for any of heroes to render them useless… Untill recently brought up in our previous article No Not My Ana!!!

Fans of Overwatch have been dreading the changes that were coming to one of the fan favorite support characters Ana. The changes that were coming were as follows:

Biotic Rifle

  • Damage decreased from 80 to 60

Biotic Grenade

  • Impact damage reduced from 60 to 30
  • Impact healing reduced from 100 to 50

Thankfully after time in the PTR and a lot of community outrage . The develops are going to listen to the backlash of the massive nerf of this support character. As shown above from the previous stated changes to Ana. They are going to be removing the Biotic Grenade changes, and only bringing her damage down slightly. I believe this is very fair for the fact the grenade seemed more as a support (buff/debuff) ability. While the Biotic Rifle damage is a DPS trait. It was unfair to see Ana killing characters as well if not better then not DPS classes, while being able to buff and debuff the battle field. Hopefully these changes for Ana will bring light to the character, and not kick her from the meta.
