We finally received some sort of news about when we will be able to get our hands on Bethesda’s highly anticipated Fallout 76. They announced in an update to their forum post that gamers who pre-ordered will slowly, over time, be let into the beta in… October? Yes sadly it will not be until October for Xbox exclusively getting first dibs on trying it out.
Many people on social media are showing concern about how late the beta is compared to the launch of the game and rightfully so. Giving yourself a couple weeks (the game launches November 14th) to straighten out server issues and bugs is a tall task to take on. I do, however, feel like if there was a company that’ll work to figure it out in that short of time, Bethesda would be one that could handle it.
Once the beta does finally go live, don’t be surprised if it takes an extra day or two to get in. Bethesda further explained that they will be letting in a small group to start then bringing more and more people over time. Don’t worry though, despite some people’s misinterpretation of the post, if you pre-ordered the game you will get in no matter what.
We are just a couple months away from getting to play Fallout with our friends for the first time. How do you guys feel about it? What concerns do you have? Let us know in the comments below!
