Santa Monica isn’t hiding the fact that they already have their next project in the works. They took to Twitter to announce to the world that they are looking for an Art Director for “a new unannounced title.” You can read the full tweet below.
The studio’s current project God of War Ragnarok is slated for a 2021 release so this does not come as a major surprise that they are already looking towards their next project. Art direction is usually the first step in the development process so whatever this new project becomes it is sure to be in early development. The surprising part is how openly they just advertised that they are working on a new project.
