Nintendo Shares E3 Plans

Nintendo has had it’s fair share of the limelight through the first four months of the year with the official reveal of the Nintendo Switch, the launch of the Switch, and the latest installment of The Legend of Zelda being one of the greatest reviewed games of all-time. Nintendo has been enjoying a big year, and they have continued the momentum into E3 this year which is just a few weeks away. At the event, all those Switch owners eager to know what the future holds for their new console will get a chance to see some upcoming games and more during Nintendo’s E3 festivities. Nintendo laid out the major events that they will be holding on their website, which is sure to entice thousands to tune in on June 13th.

To kick off the event, Nintendo will be hosting it’s version of a press conference, Nintendo Spotlight, where they plan to show off more of Super Mario Odyssey as well as games to be announced. Following Nintendo Spotlight is Nintendo Treehouse Live, where viewers of the livestream will get insight from developers on upcoming games for both the Switch and 3DS family of systems, and to tease fans even more Nintendo states on their website they may, “share some surprises.” Two other major events set to take during their three day event is a Splatoon 2 tournament and the first ARMS tournament.

C2E2 Day One!!!

Yesterday was the first day of C2E2, and it was a blast! We got there right around the time of opening at 10am, and were there till around 5pm. The day started very well when I brought Seth to his first ever booth… He had the intensions of not spending any money, but those planes were demolished intently when he drops about 100$ at his first booth on some statues and key chains… We then went and met Jennifer Hale for an autograph, and it felt amazing to meet one of the most popular voices in video games throughout the years. It was really great to see a huge  a cluster of nerds who love and share a bunch of common interested! All around day one was a huge success we will post some of the art work sometime this weekend for everyone to check out!

Elex Gets a Prologue Trailer

Elex, an upcoming sci-fi roleplaying game from THQ Nordic, has a new trailer out that gives us a pretty solid backstory behind the different factions and motivations of said factions for the game. Near the end of the trailer it even gives you a brief insight on the character you will be playing. It does a good job of introducing this character without actually giving away any specifics of your mission, so I guess we will just have to wait for Elex to launch later this year to know the purpose of Jax quest that will “change the fate of Magalan.”

What do you think about THQ Nordic’s next venture? Let us know in the comments below or tweet us @TheNerdChambers. Don’t forget to also like us on Facebook and follow us on Instagram!

C2E2 Hype!!!

This weekend is one of the most exciting events for all nerds in Illinois! It’s time for C2E2! This will be my fifth year in a row attending the event, and I am even more excited then ever. Marvel will finally be making a return to the event, so it will be great to possibly see any sort of teaers for upcoming projects of Marvel (please give a little preview of Defenders!) A couple years back when Gotham wqs coming out they aited the first episode for all attendees of the event to get an opportunity to watch. After the great success of the preview Supergirl did the same thing!

Other than any movie and TV excitement I am really hoping that their is a booth where I can get my hands on Injustice 2 somewhere at the con. It was really awesome that Mortal Kombat X was playable early at C2E2 they it dropped, so let’s hope that Injustice 2 gets the same love! I am also in a big debate on what to spend my money on this year… Filling in the holes of my amazing Spider-Man collection comics… Or some incredible art pieces in artist alley..??? The dicisions are so difficult!

Make sure to keep checking in over the weekend for updated on how C2E2 is panning out for the cast at The Nerd Chambers! Also tweet us @TheNerdChambers or comment below , and let us know your best con experience!

Nintendo Working on SNES Classic

Now that the NES Classic is done being produced, it seems Nintendo has jumped right back on the wagon with their next classic system remake. Sources confirmed to Eurogamer that Nintendo is indeed working on a Super Nintendo Entertainment system similar to that of the NES Classic. Not only is it in production but it is expected to be ready for release this holiday season. I wouldn’t expect the SNES to be around forever though as Nintendo explained when they announced the discontinuation of the NES Classic that the classic system was meant to be a novelty item for the holidays last year. Nonetheless, you should all start getting hyped for the SNES Classic because the game library on the system was superior to that of the NES with games like Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, and Link to the Past.

We will be sure to keep you guys updated when we learn more about the system and a release window. For now, let us know, what SNES games would you want to see on the classic? Let us know in the comments below or tweet us @TheNerdChambers.

This December Star War’s fans will get see where Rey’s adventure leads us. This trailer does a great job of peeking interest in the movie without really giving too much away besides a couple action sequences and Luke Skywalker saying the Jedis need to end.

Wait a minute… WHAT? Check it out for yourself let us know what you guys think in the comments below or tweet us @TheNerdChambers. Don’t forget to like us on Facebook and follow us on Instagram as well!

Thanos is Cable?!

The multi talented Josh Brolin who is in many entertaining films such as Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, Avengers/Guardians of the Galaxy, and Men in Black 3 is now taking a big role in Fox’s Deadpool as the time traveling brute Cable! After a very successful Deadpool movie from Fox we are very excited to see the much anticipated Deadpool 2 coming out in 2018.

We had an absolute blast seeing a small teaser before Logan that quickly leaked online that didn’t show much other than the hilarious vulgar Merc with a Mouth. At the end of Deadpool we got a small tease about Cable being part of the sequel! If you don’t know Cable is pretty much the side quick/ good guy when it comes to the pair of Deadpool and Cable! It will be very interesting to see a good cop/bad cop sort of back and forth for the whole movie.

What do you think of Josh Brolin being Cable? Are there any better suited actors in your eyes. Let us know @TheNerdChambets!
