GuardianCon 2018 main event is approaching quickly as Streamers have been working with them for the past week for donations. GuardianCon started in 2016 to help promote a long charity broadcast marathon benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
In 2016 there was $564,000 raised. GuardianCon over doubled that their second year in 2017 with raising $1.35 Million. This year their goal is to reach $2.4 million which is the daily operating cost of St. Jude. The main event is on July 13th and July 14th at the Tampa Bay Convention Center. It will be hosted by Gothalion, Professor Broman, Kmagic101, and OmniWaffle.
Streamers have made a growing $1,860,000 since the start of the GuardianCon Charity Marathon Stream Schedule. Famous streamer TimTheTatman broke the donation record on a 8 to 12 morning stream with a whopping $106,000!
